Hello!
I have always had a goal to run my own little homeware shop, and recently gave myself a target of doing it before the time I was 30... and I am proud to announce I made it! With one month to spare, in July 2022, I signed a lease for a shop in the beautiful coastal town of Dartmouth in South Devon. It is a town I have a fond attachment to, so to have my own shop here is the dream!
With the help of my lovely family and friends, we managed to turn an empty shell into the shop of my dreams within two weeks, and have been open ever since!
August was such a busy month, as I was turning 30 coincidentally at the same time as the Dartmouth Regatta. The regatta is one of the busiest times in Dartmouth, and I was lucky enough to have a stall on the river front, so it was a busy couple of weeks making lots of candles and homeware to stock both, but I had so much fun!
