I've had such an amazing year in my Dartmouth store since I opened last July, and can't quite believe how much amberhoney has grown in that time! When I first opened, I was only selling my own brand of home fragrance and home décor, along with a few prints by Jack Wotton that we were selling under the amberhoney name. Fast forward to now, and we have moved the shop around, made the selling space bigger, Jack now has a whole range of prints selling under his own name, and we have welcomed the first few of hopefully many local small businesses to the Dartmouth shop.
We have some really big news coming out in the new year about the shop (don't worry its exciting not bad!), but for now I thought I would go through the brands we now have instore, especially with Christmas just around the corner, as we have lots of gifts and present ideas that will suit every taste and budget.
Amberhoney
First up is my own brand amberhoney! Amberhoney offers soy wax candles & melts in 6 signature scents, along with limited edition fragrances released every season, all hand poured by myself in the Dartmouth store. There is a range of fragrances, and candles come in 3 sizes, so there is something for every candle lover. For those who prefer melts, choose from individual scents or selection packs to sample each of the scents on offer, along with unique wax melt burners to make it a complete gift.
Jack Wotton Art
For those who may not know, Jack is my fiancé, which is why he features so heavily in the amberhoney store! Jack is a talented musician and artist who began by drawing a few pieces to sell as prints when amberhoney first opened, so I could offer a wider range of products. His work has done so well in the store, which has given him the confidence to branch off as an artist under his own name, so make sure to give him a follow on social media (@jackwottonart) to see his new projects. Currently in our Dartmouth store, is Jack's nature inspired art prints, which are beautiful illustrations of wildlife found around Devon coastline & countryside. These simple but detailed pieces are available as art prints on recycled paper in A5 & A4, and the cutest little greeting cards.
Craft & Petal
Lou's gorgeous dried flower creations work so well in the store, and look amazing in any home. We stock a range of bouquets and wreaths which complement lots of colour schemes. We also stock craft & petal recycled glass vases which work really well with the bouquets. These arrangements are a much more sustainable alternative to gifting fresh flowers, and last so much longer too!
Devon Seaweed Company
The Devon Seaweed Company are one of the first brands we stocked at amberhoney, after meeting them at a Christmas Market and striking up a friendship with the lovely Stuart & Charlotte. They produce a gorgeous range of seaweed homeware & gifts, which are printed from real seaweed pressings they do themselves. In the Dartmouth store, their limited edition prints of seaweed found on local beaches have sold so well, especially as souvenirs as they feature the name of the beach where the seaweed was sourced, so you can choose ones that come from places you have visited. Alongside their prints, we also stock posters & greeting cards in our Dartmouth store,.
Naked Palm Jewellery
Naked Palm is a gorgeous brand that I've been excited to feature instore for a while. Everything is meticulously designed by the talented Toriee who then gets her designs bought to life by master craftsmen using ethical materials. Her collection featuring opals, moonstones, pearls and intricate engravings on dainty rings, necklaces and earrings. Everything is made using Sterling Silver & 14K Gold Vermeil, meaning they are long lasting, high quality pieces that will look great for years and years. We stock quite a few pieces, including different sizes of rings, so feel free to come in and try some on to find your perfect fit.
Wild Rising
Our newest brand to the amberhoney store is Wild Rising Skin Care, a brand I have used myself and love. Everything is hand made by the lovely Dani, and uses natural organic materials. Wild Rising offer skincare products from cleansers, face & body oils, hair oils and luxurious bath salts, in both full sizes and minis - which are the perfect way to trial the products. Amberhoney also stocks a few Wild Rising gift boxes, which are beautifully presented and ready to be wrapped, perfect for Christmas time!
